Profile
Dr. Vijaykumar completed his MBBS from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad, in 2008. He did his post-graduate residency in Radiodiagnosis from Vivekananda Hospital, Latur and obtained his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India in 2015.
He has served as registrar in the Department of Radiology, KEM Hospital Mumbai in 2016, where he developed a keen interest in cross-sectional imaging with a focus on CT.
He has experience of 6 years in general radiology, with special interest in radiography and cross-sectional imaging – CT and MRI. He has a good grasp of Doppler studies and is an expert in obstetric USG. He also has vast experience in reporting mammography.
He has a keen interest in administration and is a strong believer in working for the overall development of radiological services in district places and towns across India.
