Profile
Dr. Prasad Salunkhe graduated (MBBS) from Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad in 2005. He did his post-graduate residency in Radiodiagnosis from Pushpagiri Medical College, Tiruvalla, Kerala and obtained his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India in 2011.
He has served as registrar in the Department of Radiology, TATA Hospital, Mumbai in 2012, where he trained himself in onco (cancer) imaging and mammography.
He has experience of 10 years in general radiology with interest in radiography, cross-sectional imaging – CT and MRI, cancer imaging and foetal echocardiography. He has continued his research on USG of thyroid disorders from his post-graduation days and specialised in ultrasonography of small parts, obstetrics (pregnancy scan) and foetal echocardiography. He has been doing various image-guided biopsies for the past 10 years.
